Our Coaches

Steve Williams

Steve has been a strength and conditioning coach for the past 7 years, where he has experience working with novice and elite athletes on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups. He currently works for the Welsh Rugby Union, based at RGC with the age grade teams and also at Llandrillo college with the rugby programme. Steve is responsible for programming and coaching the workouts at SW1.

Holly Knowles

Sport and fitness have always been apart of Holly’s life. She has a background in cross-country, netball and athletics and in 2015 Olympic weightlifting took the reigns. Olympic weightlifting is Holly’s speciality where she coaches and competes.

Holly has competed internationally for Wales 5 times, has ranked 9th in the 2018 commonwealth games, and has also been Junior British champion twice in different weight and age categories.

Holly believes that health and fitness can change people’s lives and the sooner they start, the better! Holly is invested in not only helping develop adults in health and fitness but also developing the junior weightlifters, by inspiring them to unlock their potential in both their sport and their well-being.
